“ Me and hubby stopped here tonight at 750... They close at 8, we didn't know. However they welcomed us in.. To sit in and eat. I was just so glad they were gonna serve us and didn't expect to sit in..as they were closing in 10 mins... Been to fast food places who stop dine in 30 or 40 mins before closing to "clean"But the lady insisted that we sit and eat that she didnt mind..She was very nice and welcoming, made us very comfortable and engaged in conversation with us..very nice company. We both had 2 piece fish and chips, with gravy. The fries were homemade and delicious and the gravy was delicious, thick flavorful and plentiful... Now the fish on the other hand, OMG .. best fish i have have in soooo long, the 2 pieces were big thick meaty pieces, cooked to perfection, wasn't over cooked but was crispy and wasn't fully cooked not mushy at all ... The serving was a very generous size to the point we could only eat half and took the rest with us. Well I guess all I can add to this, is that i highly recommend this restaurant, so if you are hungry and passing this place its worth staying hungry a while to eat here... Just a review from someone who travels east to west, Canada and US and eat at many different places... I will be back for the fish and chips for sure..but excited to try other menu items... ”

“ If we could give 4.5 we would. We deduct half a star because the meat was slightly dry and the mashed potatoes subpar (they need more butter & milk), the carrots were amazing. The atmosphere was delightful and homely. We loved, the decorations, old till & piano display. The owners do a lot for charity. They made us sign their guest book and gave us a free branded pen!! The perfect place to stop along the way. ”
